Medal of Merit for three members of the Learned Society

President of the Republic Petr Pavel awarded the Medal of Merit of the 1st degree to three members of the Learned Society: 

• Prof. MUDr. Helena Tlaskalová - Hogenová, DrSc. for services to the state in the field of science
• RNDr. Jiří Grygar, CSc. for services to the state in the field of science
• in memoriam to Prof. Josef Jařab, PhDr., CSc., dr. h. c. for his services to the state in the field of state and citizen security

The same award was given to Ing. Hana Dvořáková, CSc., the founder of the Experientia Foundation, which, together with the Learned Society, awards the Via Chimica Prize for university students of chemistry.
