The awards of the Learned Society of the Czech Republic are awarded to personalities who are citizens of the Czech Republic, who work in the Czech Republic and who are not members of the Learned Society of the Czech Republic.

The Learned Society of the Czech Republic Award for Research

The prize is awarded in the following categories:

• Researches
• Young researchers up to 40 years of age
• Secondary school students

Award of the Learned Society of the Czech Republic for university students

Via Chimica Prize

A joint award of the Learned Society of the Czech Republic and the Experientia Foundation for university students of chemistry. More about the prize on the Experientia Foundation website.

Award of the Learned Society of the Czech Republic for Teachers

The award is sponsored by the IOCB Tech Foundation. The prize is awarded to teachers for promoting interest in science and research in primary and secondary schools, creating conditions for individual activities of their pupils and students, and for outstanding student performance in competitions.

The awards are presented by the President of the Learned Society once a year on the occasion of the annual meeting of The Learned Society members. Awards may not be given.
